The Katsina State Government and security chiefs have intensified efforts to tackle banditry, terrorism and other security threats affecting communities across the state.
The renewed collaboration is focused on strengthening security operations, improving intelligence gathering and enhancing coordination among relevant security agencies to prevent attacks and protect residents.
Authorities are also expected to deepen cooperation with communities and other stakeholders as part of efforts to identify security threats early and support measures aimed at restoring peace in affected areas.
The initiative comes amid continued security concerns across Katsina and other parts of the Northwest, where bandit attacks and related criminal activities have affected lives, livelihoods and economic activities.
