The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control has alerted Nigerians to the circulation of suspected counterfeit ORACIRE+ Toothpaste, allegedly being marketed as the registered ORACARE+ Toothpaste.
The agency warned consumers to be cautious when purchasing the product, stressing the need to verify the authenticity of toothpaste and other regulated products before use.
NAFDAC urged members of the public to report suspected counterfeit products to the agency and avoid purchasing or using products whose authenticity cannot be established.
