Meta Platforms will launch Meta One, a subscription service offering advanced artificial intelligence tools and additional features across Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp, the company said on Tuesday.
Meta said the service had already attracted 15 million subscriptions and trials during its phased rollout. It will provide more than 50 features aimed at content creation, audience growth and business management.
Monthly plans will start at $2.99 for individual products, $7.99 for personal bundles and $14.99 for creator and business packages.
App specific subscriptions, including WhatsApp Plus and Instagram Plus, will offer enhanced features within individual platforms. Personal bundles will combine those services with more advanced AI capabilities.
Creator and business plans will include professional tools such as account verification, advanced analytics and improved customer support across Meta’s platforms.
The subscriptions are part of Meta’s effort to diversify revenue beyond digital advertising by generating income from its large user base. The company averaged 3.60 billion daily active users across its family of apps earlier this year.
Meta said basic app functions and standard access to Meta AI would remain free. It also plans to extend Meta One to its Edits video editing app and AI glasses.
The company said future updates would include AI agent skills designed to help creators and small businesses manage marketing, operations, content production and optimisation.
