The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has warned domestic airlines that tougher sanctions will be imposed for violations of aviation regulations.
The authority said enforcement would be carried out without favouritism, stressing that no airline would receive preferential treatment or be considered a “sacred cow” when it comes to compliance with safety and operational rules.
The NCAA urged airlines to strictly adhere to established regulations, warning that breaches would attract appropriate penalties as the authority intensifies efforts to maintain safety and discipline across Nigeria’s aviation sector.
