Bandits, Eight Motorists Killed in Zamfara, Sokoto, Katsina

Several suspected bandits and eight motorists have reportedly been killed in separate incidents across Zamfara, Sokoto and Katsina states.

The attacks and security operations were reported amid continuing efforts by security agencies to contain banditry and protect communities and travellers across the North-West.

In Zamfara and neighbouring states, armed groups have continued to pose security challenges, particularly along roads and rural communities.

Security agencies are expected to intensify operations and patrols in vulnerable areas to prevent further attacks and safeguard motorists and residents.

The latest incidents have again highlighted the need for sustained security measures across the affected states.
