Yola Electricity Distribution Company (YEDC) says reconstruction of the collapsed transmission tower supplying electricity to Hayin Gada, MAUTECH, Girei and surrounding areas is progressing.
The company said the new tower has been assembled and is nearing completion, raising hopes of an early restoration of power supply to the affected communities.
YEDC Management assured customers that electricity supply would be restored immediately after the reconstruction work is completed.
The company thanked affected communities for their patience and urged residents to remain vigilant and report suspicious activities around electricity infrastructure.
