Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to completing and commissioning quality infrastructure projects before the end of his tenure, saying his government will continue to deliver people oriented projects until its last day in office.

The governor made the pledge after inspecting the ongoing construction of the Jimeta Ultra Modern Shopping Complex and the Adamawa State Zoo in Jimeta, where he assessed the progress and quality of work on both projects.

Governor Fintiri said the inspection was part of his administration’s commitment to ensuring contractors adhere to approved standards and timelines while delivering value for public funds.

Expressing satisfaction with the pace of work, the governor commended the contractors for their dedication and disclosed that both projects are expected to be completed by the end of September for public use.

He described the Jimeta Ultra Modern Shopping Complex as one of the finest commercial facilities in Northern Nigeria, noting that it would modernise business activities in the state, provide a conducive trading environment and stimulate economic growth.

According to him, the shopping complex will also generate employment opportunities for residents, particularly young people, while boosting commerce and investment in Adamawa State.

Speaking on the remaining months of his administration, Governor Fintiri said he still has about ten months to consolidate on his achievements and is determined to maximise the period by completing more impactful projects across the state.

He added that his administration remains focused on leaving behind a stable, efficient and development driven government that will provide a solid foundation for future administrations to build upon.
