Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has paid a condolence visit to the Sarki Matasa Adamawa, Alhaji Abdullahi Abubakar, following the death of his uncle, Mallam Ahmadu Abdulkadir.
During the visit, Governor Fintiri extended his heartfelt sympathies to Alhaji Abdullahi Abubakar and the entire bereaved family, describing the loss as a painful one and praying for Allah’s mercy upon the deceased.
The governor prayed Almighty Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the late Mallam Ahmadu Abdulkadir, grant him Aljannatul Firdaus, and bless the family with the strength, patience and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
Responding, the Sarki Matasa Adamawa, Alhaji Abdullahi Abubakar, expressed appreciation to Governor Fintiri for the condolence visit and his words of comfort.
He described the governor’s gesture as a demonstration of compassion, solidarity and genuine concern for the people, especially during moments of grief, noting that the visit reflected the strong bond between the governor and the people of Adamawa State.
