The Nigerian Advocacy for Good Governance Alliance has criticised the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over the continued economic hardship facing Nigerians following the removal of the fuel subsidy.

The group said millions of Nigerians were yet to feel the impact of the economic relief measures promised by the Federal Government, despite assurances that subsidy removal would ultimately improve living conditions.

It expressed concern over the rising cost of living and the financial pressure on households, urging the Tinubu administration to intensify measures aimed at cushioning the effects of the subsidy removal.

The alliance also called for greater transparency and accountability in the implementation of government interventions designed to support vulnerable Nigerians.

It urged the Federal Government to prioritise policies that would translate economic reforms into tangible improvements in the lives of citizens.
