The Nigerian Army has intensified security operations in Kebbe Local Government Area of Sokoto State, vowing to deny Lakurawa terrorists and other criminal elements any safe haven in the area.

The move follows growing security concerns in parts of Sokoto, with the Army strengthening its presence and surveillance to protect communities and prevent further attacks.

The security operation is also aimed at disrupting the activities of Lakurawa fighters, who have been linked to insecurity in parts of the Northwest.

The Army assured residents that troops would continue to operate in affected areas and work with other security agencies and local communities to restore lasting peace.

Residents have been urged to remain vigilant and provide security agencies with useful information that could assist ongoing operations against terrorists and other criminal groups.
