Yola South Chairman Orders Immediate Removal of Refuse in Bole Yolde Pate

The Executive Chairman of Yola South Local Government Area, Hon. Barr. Abdulhamid Alkali Aminu, has directed the immediate evacuation of heaps of refuse from Bole Yolde Pate Ward following complaints about indiscriminate waste disposal in the area.

The directive followed a complaint raised by the councillor representing Bole Yolde Pate Ward at the Yola South Legislative Council, drawing the chairman’s attention to the growing environmental concern.

Following the complaint, the chairman directed the relevant authorities to clear the affected area without delay and restore a cleaner environment for residents.

The chairman also urged residents to report environmental challenges promptly and avoid indiscriminate dumping of refuse that could pose risks to public health.

According to the chairman, his administration remains committed to maintaining a clean and healthy Yola South, while calling for the cooperation of residents in sustaining the cleanliness of their communities.

He appreciated the councillor for bringing the issue to his attention and reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to responding promptly to issues affecting the welfare and wellbeing of residents.
