Yobe ADC Threatens Court Action Over Exclusion From 2026 LG Poll

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Yobe State has threatened legal action over its alleged exclusion from the process leading to the 2026 local government elections.

The party expressed concern over its reported exclusion from the electoral process, arguing that all registered political parties should be given a fair opportunity to participate in the polls.

The ADC said it was prepared to seek legal redress to challenge the development and protect its rights under the law.

The party’s position comes as preparations for the local government elections continue across the state.
