JMG Limited has partnered with the Lagos Food Bank Initiative to provide food assistance to vulnerable households in Majidun, Ikorodu, as part of efforts to address hunger and ease the pressure of rising household needs.
The outreach, held last week under the Temporary Food Assistance Programme (TEFAP), provided essential food supplies to families experiencing food insecurity. The initiative also formed part of activities marking World Food Day, with the organisers targeting more than 400 women.
Activities began at the Lagos Food Bank Initiative’s headquarters, where members of JMG’s leadership team and staff joined volunteers to package food items for distribution. The team was received by the initiative’s Executive Director, Dr Michael Sunbola, alongside Samita Keshinro, Muame Agbosi and other staff members and volunteers. The visitors also toured the facility before proceeding to Majidun for the outreach.
The event opened with the Lagos Food Bank Initiative pledge, reinforcing both organisations’ commitment to supporting vulnerable communities.
Speaking during the programme, JMG Chief Operating Officer Christian G. Kozma highlighted the importance of supporting women and recognising their contributions to society. He noted that women play central roles throughout life and said the company recognised their importance.

For JMG, which provides electromechanical solutions, the partnership represents an opportunity to extend its community engagement beyond its core business. The initiative highlights the role of corporate partnerships in delivering practical assistance to families facing food insecurity.
