Bayern Munich midfielder Aleksandar Pavlović has admitted that winning the Ballon d’Or remains a personal ambition, expressing his desire to one day claim football’s most prestigious individual award.
Speaking to German newspaper BILD, the Germany international acknowledged that the honour represents a dream he hopes to fulfil during his career.
“I’d be lying if I said it wouldn’t be my dream to win the Ballon d’Or one day,” Pavlović said.
The midfielder has continued to build his reputation at Bayern Munich, where his performances in the centre of the pitch have drawn attention to his technical ability, composure and understanding of the game.
Pavlović’s ambition reflects the aspirations of many young footballers seeking to establish themselves among the sport’s elite. The Ballon d’Or recognises the world’s outstanding individual performer, with past winners including Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
For Pavlović, however, the immediate challenge will be maintaining consistency, earning regular playing time and contributing to Bayern’s pursuit of domestic and European honours.
The midfielder’s statement offers a glimpse into his long-term ambitions as he continues his development at one of Germany’s most successful clubs.
