Mbappé Rules Out Playing Until 41 Like Cristiano Ronaldo

Kylian Mbappé has ruled out following Cristiano Ronaldo’s career path by continuing to play at the highest level until the age of 41.

The France captain was asked about the possibility of matching Ronaldo’s remarkable longevity and joked that his international career would not allow him to go that far.

“France would never let me play until I’m 41!” Mbappé said with a smile.

Despite ruling out such an extended career, Mbappé praised Ronaldo for maintaining the physical and mental condition required to remain competitive at the highest level well into his 40s.

“Cristiano shows that if you’re in good physical and mental shape, you can play at this high level for a long time,” Mbappé said.

Ronaldo’s career has become a notable example of longevity in elite football, with the Portuguese star continuing to compete at the highest level despite being well into his 40s.

Mbappé, however, admitted that he does not expect to replicate the former Real Madrid star’s career timeline.

“In my case, I don’t see it happening,” the France forward told BILD.
