The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has urged contractors handling its projects to resolve disputes quickly to prevent costly delays and ensure timely completion.

The commission said prolonged disagreements between contractors and other stakeholders could affect project delivery and increase costs.

The NDDC advised contractors to use dialogue and other appropriate dispute-resolution channels to address challenges that arise during project execution.

It stressed the need for contractors to maintain effective communication with the commission and other stakeholders throughout the duration of their projects.

The agency also reaffirmed its commitment to completing development projects across the Niger Delta region and ensuring that public funds are used efficiently.

The NDDC urged contractors to prioritise quality, accountability and timely delivery in the execution of projects.
