Former Kogi State senator Dino Melaye has challenged the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over any move to arrest former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.
Melaye warned that any attempt to arrest Atiku would trigger a strong response from Nigerians, insisting that the people have the power to stand up against actions they consider unjust.
He made the remarks amid ongoing political tensions and scrutiny involving Atiku and the anti-graft agency.
Melaye also urged the EFCC to act within the law and avoid any action that could be perceived as politically motivated.
