The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested 80 suspected drug offenders and dismantled 16 drug joints in Kano State as part of intensified efforts to combat illicit drug activities.

The arrests and operations were carried out as the agency stepped up its enforcement activities across the state, targeting locations allegedly used for the distribution and consumption of illicit drugs.

The development highlights ongoing efforts by security and law enforcement agencies to curb drug-related activities and protect communities from the effects of substance abuse.

The NDLEA has continued to intensify operations against drug trafficking and abuse across Kano and other parts of the country.
