The Jigawa State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission (PCACC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS) to enhance institutional capacity and promote effective governance.

The partnership is aimed at strengthening the commission’s operational capabilities through capacity building, research, policy development, and technical support, enabling it to improve transparency, accountability, and anti-corruption efforts across the state.

Speaking during the signing ceremony, officials from both institutions described the agreement as a strategic step toward building stronger public institutions and enhancing the effectiveness of anti-corruption initiatives.

They noted that the collaboration would facilitate knowledge sharing, staff training, and the adoption of best practices in governance, legislation, and public administration, while reinforcing efforts to combat corruption and improve service delivery.

The MoU underscores the commitment of both the Jigawa anti-corruption agency and NILDS to fostering integrity, institutional excellence, and sustainable democratic governance in Nigeria.
