Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has approved a significant increase in the monthly bond allowance paid to medical students of Adamawa State origin, raising it from ₦8,200 to ₦100,000.
The increase represents a substantial boost in financial support for the students and is expected to ease the economic burden associated with their medical education and training.
The decision reflects Governor Fintiri’s administration’s continued commitment to supporting education and human capital development, particularly in the health sector.
The enhanced allowance is also expected to motivate more indigenes of Adamawa State pursuing medical education and contribute to the development of a stronger healthcare workforce for the state.
