Speaker of the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Bathiya Wesley, has dismissed reports suggesting that he is planning to leave the All Progressives Congress, APC, for another political party.

Wesley described the reports as rumours and urged members of the public and his supporters to disregard the claims, stressing that there is no plan to defect from the APC.

The Speaker’s clarification comes amid growing political activities and speculation over the future political alignments of prominent figures in Adamawa State.

He reaffirmed his commitment to the APC and called on party supporters to remain focused and united.
