The Cross River State Police Command has intensified efforts to tackle cultism and violence on campuses across the state.

The command said it was taking steps to identify and apprehend individuals involved in cult-related activities and other forms of violence, particularly within and around tertiary institutions.

The police also urged students, school authorities and members of the public to provide useful information that could assist efforts to prevent criminal activities and maintain peace on campuses.

Authorities warned that anyone found engaging in cultism, violence or other criminal acts would face the full weight of the law.
