Christians, Muslims and traditional religious practitioners have gathered in Lagos for an interfaith prayer session ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The gathering brought together adherents of different faiths who prayed for divine intervention and victory for candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming elections.
The participants called for peaceful and successful elections, while seeking God’s guidance and favour for the party and its candidates.
The interfaith gathering also underscored calls for religious harmony and peaceful coexistence among Nigerians as the country prepares for another election cycle.
The participants urged Nigerians to embrace peace and unity throughout the electoral process, stressing the importance of peaceful participation in the 2027 elections.
