Six Reportedly Killed in Road Crash Near MAU, Adamawa

Six people have reportedly lost their lives in a road accident along the Girei Road near Bukar Mele, close to Modibbo Adama University in Adamawa State.

According to eyewitnesses, a truck crashed into a Keke Napep carrying passengers, resulting in multiple casualties.

A heavily pregnant woman was reportedly among those who died in the crash, while the truck driver was said to have fled the scene, abandoning the vehicle.

The cause of the accident remains unknown, as authorities have yet to officially confirm the number of casualties.

The incident has raised fresh concerns over road safety along the busy Girei Road, particularly around the university axis.
