The All Progressives Congress governorship candidate in Gombe State has pledged to bring his experience and achievements in the private sector into public administration if elected governor in 2027.
The candidate said his ambition was driven by a desire to introduce greater efficiency, accountability and innovation into the management of the state’s resources.
He explained that his experience in the private sector had exposed him to the importance of prudent financial management, effective leadership, job creation and investment in human capital.
According to him, Gombe requires a government that can turn available resources into tangible opportunities for residents, particularly young people and entrepreneurs.
He promised to prioritise policies that would strengthen the state’s economy, support small and medium-sized businesses, attract investment and create sustainable employment opportunities.
The APC candidate also pledged to improve infrastructure and strengthen key sectors, including education, healthcare and agriculture, as part of efforts to raise the standard of living across the state.
He urged residents to assess political candidates based on their track records, competence and ability to deliver measurable results rather than political rhetoric.
The candidate said, if elected, his administration would operate an inclusive government focused on accountability, economic growth and improved service delivery.
Political activities are expected to intensify in Gombe as parties and their candidates begin to mobilise supporters ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
