Former Secretary to the Katsina State Government, Mustapha Inuwa, has resigned his membership of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and directed his supporters to join the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Inuwa announced his decision in Katsina, citing political considerations and the need for his supporters to align with the APC ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The former SSG, who had been associated with the ADC in recent political activities, urged his supporters across the state to follow his lead and return to the APC.

His move is expected to generate fresh political realignments in Katsina State as political parties intensify preparations ahead of the 2027 elections.

Inuwa previously served as Secretary to the Katsina State Government and remains an influential figure in the state’s political landscape.

The development further underscores the ongoing movement of political actors between opposition platforms as parties position themselves for the next electoral cycle.
