The 2027 Adamawa State governorship aspirant, Abdulrahman Haske, alongside his running mate, Engr. Safriel O. Judson Glah, has engaged members of the Adamawa State Chapter of the Correspondents’ Chapel to present their vision for the state under the Adamawa First Agenda.
The engagement, according to a statement shared by Haske, focused on presenting the political team’s development vision and exploring areas of collaboration with journalists. The aspirant emphasised the importance of media engagement in promoting transparency, accountability and informed public discussion on issues affecting Adamawa State.
During the meeting, Haske and Glah highlighted their interest in maintaining communication with media professionals as part of their broader engagement with stakeholders across the state. The Correspondents’ Chapel, which brings together journalists reporting for various media organisations, provides a platform for discussing governance, public policy and development issues.
Haske noted that the media plays an important role in keeping citizens informed, scrutinising public institutions and providing a platform for diverse perspectives on government policies and programmes. He expressed his team’s readiness to sustain engagement with journalists as political activities continue ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
The aspirant also reiterated the message behind the Adamawa First Agenda, which he described as a vision for a more inclusive, prosperous and progressive state. The engagement offered an opportunity to communicate the team’s priorities and explore how constructive interaction with the media could contribute to public awareness of its proposals.
The meeting forms part of Haske and Glah’s ongoing consultations with stakeholders as they seek to communicate their political vision to residents of Adamawa State.
Their message, captured in the slogan “Adamawa First: A New Direction, A Better Future,” centres on their stated ambition to pursue a development path that places the interests of the state and its people at the forefront.
