Three people have been arrested in Britain on suspicion of involvement in an alleged insider dealing and money laundering scheme, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) said on Tuesday.
The arrests followed a joint operation involving the FCA and the National Crime Agency, during which more than 100 staff and officers searched five residential properties in London and Manchester.
Investigators seized more than 30 electronic devices, including mobile phones, laptops and tablets, as part of the investigation.
Authorities have not disclosed further details about the suspects or the alleged financial activities under investigation.
