The circumstances surrounding the crash, including the exact location, the number of vehicles involved, and whether other people sustained injuries, have not been confirmed in the headline.
The death of the corps member is a painful reminder of the risks road users face daily, particularly when heavy-duty vehicles are involved in collisions.
Road safety authorities have repeatedly emphasised the importance of regular vehicle maintenance, responsible driving, compliance with traffic regulations, and proper monitoring of commercial vehicles to prevent avoidable accidents.
The incident also highlights the need for drivers of heavy-duty vehicles to exercise caution, maintain safe distances, and ensure their vehicles are in good working condition before embarking on journeys.
Relevant authorities are expected to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash and determine its cause.
The tragedy has renewed attention on the importance of stronger road safety measures to protect motorists, passengers, and other road users across the country.
