Yemen’s Prime Minister Shaya Zindani has condemned Houthi attacks on civilian targets in Saudi Arabia, accusing the armed group of acting on behalf of Iran and threatening regional security.
In a post on X, Zindani described the reported strike on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh as a “crime” and said it exposed what he called the group’s true nature.
He accused the Houthis, also known as Ansar Allah, of using attacks across the region to divert attention from alleged abuses committed against Yemenis over several years.
Zindani also urged the international community to take action against what he described as Iran’s interference in regional security and its impact on global interests.
The comments come amid rising tensions following Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia. The group’s actions have heightened concerns over civilian safety and the risk of further escalation across the Middle East.
