Reigning champions CNS Spikers will begin their 2026 CGC Volleyball Premier League championship campaign against Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps as the final phase gets underway on October 16 at the Indoor Sports Hall of the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja.
The encounter headlines an action-packed opening day of the championship phase, which will run until October 28 as Nigeria’s leading volleyball teams battle for national honours.
League leaders Nigeria Customs Service will face Ajase Ipo in their opening men’s fixture, hoping to convert their strong league position into a title after narrowly missing out last season.
Two-time champions Offa VC will take on Nigeria Police Force, while Nigeria Correctional Service will face second-placed COAS Spikers in another highly anticipated encounter.
Former champions Kano Pillars will battle Life Camp VC, while the 2025 National Division One champions face Sunshine Spikers.
In the women’s category, defending champions Nigeria Customs Service will launch their title defence against NAF Rockets.
Excelsior Angels will meet Olalomi Royal Angels, while former champions CNS Spikers face Benue Queens.
Anambra Queens will battle Kada Emeralds, with Life Camp VC taking on Fire Service. NSCDC will complete the opening-day women’s fixtures against VIP & Partners Spikers.
The online draws were conducted ahead of the teams’ arrival in Abuja, setting up a competitive final phase featuring some of the country’s strongest volleyball clubs.
With the top teams converging on the capital, fans can expect intense competition as the race for the 2026 CGC Volleyball Premier League titles gets underway.
