Big Brother Naija Season 11, tagged “Show Ya Sef”, reaches its grand finale today after 70 days of drama, romance, heated arguments, strategic gameplay, disqualifications and unexpected twists.
The season began on July 26 with 24 housemates competing for the N160 million grand prize. As the weeks progressed, evictions and disciplinary actions reduced the number of contestants, while several twists kept viewers guessing.
One of the major twists was the introduction of The Gambit, which guaranteed selected housemates a place in the finale but initially made them ineligible for the grand prize. The twist was later changed, allowing them to compete for the ultimate prize.
The season also recorded two major disqualifications. Nomy was removed from the house in September following repeated violations of Big Brother’s rules and instructions. Keivo was later disqualified after a disagreement with Tram escalated into physical violence.
Another major turning point came when Barry used his Ultimate Veto Power to choose “Immunity For All”, securing every remaining housemate a place in the finale.
After weeks of competition, only nine housemates remain in contention. They are Aikou, Barry, Bluethopia, Flora, Oyin, Ricky, Sheba, Temi Nkem and Tram.
The grand finale is expected to feature performances, emotional reunions and the final eviction as viewers await the crowning of the Season 11 winner. The winner will take home the N160 million prize package.
