Former Vice President and African Democratic Congress presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has unveiled his Presidential Campaign Council ahead of the 2027 general elections, appointing former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, publisher Dele Momodu and former senator Dino Melaye to key positions.
The council’s composition includes key figures from across the political landscape, with appointments covering campaign leadership, policy, media and mobilisation.

Media and Mobilisation
Dele Momodu was appointed to lead the Media and Communications Directorate as Deputy Director-General, while Dino Melaye will oversee Contact and Mobilisation.
Other media appointments include Phrank Shaibu as Director of Strategic Communication, Kola Ologbondiyan as Director of Media and Publicity, Ladan Salihu as Director of Branding and Moji Rhodes-Vivour as Director of Digital and Online Media.
The campaign structure also lists Kenneth Okonkwo, Keturah King, Nana Kazaure, Uche Diala and Dahiru Maishanu as spokespersons.
The council is expected to coordinate Atiku’s campaign activities and address issues including the cost of living, unemployment, insecurity and declining purchasing power.
