Police Arrest Two Over Burglary as Stolen iPhone Sells for N25,000

The police have arrested two suspects in connection with a burglary where a stolen iPhone was sold for just N25,000. Investigations revealed that the suspects broke into a residence and carted away several valuables, including the smartphone.

Authorities disclosed that the suspects admitted to selling the iPhone at a fraction of its market value in a bid to quickly dispose of the stolen property. This act, however, led to their arrest after police traced the device.

Law enforcement officials warned against buying stolen goods, stressing that buyers could also face prosecution. They reiterated their commitment to tackling burglary and theft, urging residents to remain vigilant and report suspicious activities.

The suspects are currently in custody and will be charged in court once investigations are concluded. Police believe the arrests will serve as a deterrent to others involved in similar crimes.
