The All Progressives Congress senatorial candidate for Adamawa South, Chief Felix Bilishan Tangwami, has met with party stakeholders and support groups in Demsa Local Government Area as part of his consultations ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Tangwami’s visit formed part of the APC’s stakeholder engagement efforts in the senatorial district, with supporters and members of various groups in Demsa expressing their support for his candidacy.
During the meeting, Tangwami assured residents that, if elected, he would prioritise the interests of the people and contribute to the development of Adamawa South. He also called for unity and greater cooperation among the people to facilitate development across the district.
The consultation also featured a congress of support groups under the Chief Felix Bilishan Tangwami, Garkuwan Mbula, Support Movement. Representatives of the groups said their decision to support his aspiration followed consultations with members across Demsa and its communities.
The gathering provided an opportunity for the groups to coordinate their activities, exchange ideas and discuss grassroots engagement ahead of the 2027 elections.
Tangwami thanked the people of Demsa for their support and urged them to remain engaged in the political process. The event ended with cultural displays and renewed calls for unity and continued grassroots mobilisation across Demsa and the wider Adamawa South Senatorial District.
