Russia summoned Britain’s charge d’affaires in Moscow, Danae Dholakia, on Friday to protest what it described as an increase in UK weapons supplies to Ukraine.
The Russian Foreign Ministry accused Britain of supporting what it called Ukrainian “terrorism and war crimes,” while providing no evidence in the statement for those allegations.
Britain has said it remains firmly committed to supporting Ukraine and supplying the military equipment Kyiv needs.
Relations between Moscow and London remain strained. Russia currently has no ambassador in Britain following the departure of Andrei Kelin in July.
