The African Democratic Congress candidate for the Ekiti Central Federal Constituency I seat, Otunba Emmanuel Fayose, has unveiled a 25 member campaign committee ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Fayose, who is seeking to represent Ado Ekiti and Irepodun Ifelodun Local Government Areas in the House of Representatives, appointed his younger brother and businessman, Isaac Fayose, as the Director General of the campaign team.
He also appointed former Ekiti State Deputy Governor, Prof. Olusola Eleka, as the patron of the campaign committee.
Speaking during the unveiling in Ado Ekiti on Saturday, Fayose said his decision to contest was driven by his desire to provide practical and measurable representation for the people of the constituency.
He said his campaign would focus on four major areas, including effective advocacy, strong oversight, attracting development resources and greater participation of citizens in governance.
Fayose stressed that political representation should be based on competence, service and understanding of the needs of the people rather than wealth, inheritance or political influence.
He urged residents and stakeholders in the constituency to support his ambition, promising to pursue accountable and development focused representation if elected.
The candidate will campaign under the slogan, “Support the future, support Otunba Emmanuel Fayose for better representation.”
