BetCorrect has taken its social gaming campaign to the streets of Lagos, engaging bettors across Iyana-Ipaja, Agege, Mushin, Oshodi and Ikeja to gather direct feedback on its social betting features.
The campaign saw the company’s team visit bus stops, viewing centres, roadside kiosks and other popular gathering points where football fans and bettors regularly interact.
During the engagements, BetCorrect demonstrated features designed to allow users to view and follow other bettors, track their betting records and participate in direct peer-to-peer challenges.
One of the features allows users to view other bettors’ wagers directly on the platform, reducing reliance on screenshots and booking codes shared through messaging groups.
The campaign also highlighted the platform’s follow feature, which enables users to follow bettors based on their betting history and monitor their results over time.
Another feature demonstrated was the peer-to-peer challenge, which allows users to challenge one another directly, while the profile function provides a record of a user’s betting history and results.
According to feedback gathered during the campaign, some Lagos bettors said they preferred being able to verify a bettor’s track record rather than relying solely on anonymous tipsters or claims made on social media and messaging platforms.
BetCorrect said the street-level engagement was aimed at understanding what bettors want from social gaming platforms while demonstrating how its features work in real-life settings.
The company describes BetCorrect as a social sportsbook that combines sports betting with social features, including following friends, sharing bets and discovering wagers from other users. The platform is licensed by the Lagos State Lotteries and Gaming Authority and requires users to be at least 18 years old.
The company also advises users to gamble responsibly and only stake money they can afford to lose.
