WHO Member States have continued negotiations on the Pathogen Access and Benefit-Sharing (PABS) Annex, a key component of the proposed pandemic agreement aimed at strengthening global preparedness and equitable access to health resources during future outbreaks. Delegates are working to establish a framework that ensures the timely sharing of pathogens and genetic sequence data while promoting fair access to vaccines, diagnostics, treatments, and other benefits arising from their use. The ongoing discussions reflect efforts to build a more coordinated and equitable global response to future public health emergencies.
