An aspirant in the forthcoming Osun State governorship election, Oyebamiji, has pledged to implement far-reaching reforms in the power, education, and healthcare sectors if elected governor.
Speaking during a meeting with supporters and stakeholders, Oyebamiji said his administration would prioritize reliable electricity, improved educational standards, and accessible healthcare services to enhance the quality of life for residents across the state.
He promised to pursue policies that would attract investment in the power sector, expand access to electricity in underserved communities, and support economic growth through improved energy infrastructure. According to him, a stable power supply is essential for industrial development, job creation, and the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises.
On education, the governorship hopeful vowed to improve school infrastructure, recruit and train qualified teachers, provide modern learning materials, and create an enabling environment for students to excel. He stressed that investing in education remains key to building a skilled workforce and securing the state’s future.
Oyebamiji also outlined plans to strengthen the healthcare system by upgrading hospitals and primary healthcare centres, improving access to quality medical services, and ensuring the availability of essential drugs and healthcare personnel across the state.
He called on the people of Osun to support his vision, assuring them of transparent leadership, accountable governance, and policies focused on sustainable development. The aspirant maintained that his administration would work closely with communities and relevant stakeholders to deliver meaningful progress if given the mandate.
