Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Delta Mandate have passed a unanimous vote of confidence in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, commending what they described as their purposeful and transformational leadership.
According to a report by The Guardian, the motion was moved by the Pioneer Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Emmanuel Okoro, and seconded by the member representing Isoko South Constituency II, Ferguson Onwo, during a meeting held at Onwo’s official residence in the Legislative Quarters, Asaba.
The motion was unanimously adopted through a voice vote conducted by the National President of the APC Delta Mandate, Isaac Anwuzia.
Addressing members, Anwuzia urged party faithful to intensify grassroots mobilisation and strengthen support for all APC candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.
He described the Delta APC Mandate as a strong political platform committed to advancing the fortunes of the party across the state.
Anwuzia called on members to remain united and work diligently for the re election of President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori, while ensuring the victory of all APC candidates in future elections.
He stressed that loyalty to the governor should be reflected through unwavering commitment to the party’s electoral success.
Meanwhile, the APC in Aniocha South Local Government Area has launched a new grassroots mobilisation campaign tagged “Smart Movement for Sheriff 2027” as part of efforts to strengthen support for President Tinubu, Governor Oborevwori and other APC candidates ahead of the 2027 polls.
The initiative was inaugurated in Ogwashi Uku by the Delta State Commissioner for Technical Education, Smart Ijeoma Ufoh.
Ufoh described the movement as a strategic grassroots platform designed to consolidate support for the APC and deliver victories for the party in all elective positions during the 2027 general elections.
The inauguration attracted party leaders, government officials, traditional rulers, women and youth groups, as well as APC members from across Aniocha South Local Government Area.
