Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has pledged support for the Adamawa Renewed Hope 226 Movement (ARH-226M) ahead of the 2027 general elections and endorsed its proposal to establish a permanent governance foundation after the polls.
Fintiri made the commitment at the Government House in Yola during a meeting with the movement’s leadership, state executive members and ambassadors representing the state’s 21 local government areas. The APC governorship candidate, Tijjani Galadima, and his running mate, Adamu Kamale, also attended.

The movement’s Director General and former Vice Chancellor of Modibbo Adama University, Professor Abdullahi Liman Tukur, said the organisation operates across all 226 political wards in Adamawa. He proposed transforming the grassroots network into the AUF Foundation for Good Governance after the 2027 elections to promote civic education, leadership development and best practices in public service.
The delegation also presented the movement’s operational blueprint and demonstrated its digital platform, designed to support data management, administrative coordination and feedback.
Governor Fintiri commended the movement’s grassroots structure and digital capabilities, endorsing the proposed foundation and assuring its members of his support as stated by the Adamawa state News Agency.
The visit concluded with the presentation of branded items to the governor and other political leaders, followed by a group photograph.
