The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) has begun implementing a new communication framework aimed at strengthening public trust and promoting regional cooperation among member states.

The initiative comes amid growing challenges to West African integration, with Nigeria and other member countries seeking to reinforce collaboration and public confidence in the regional bloc.

The framework is expected to improve communication between ECOWAS and citizens, enhance public understanding of its programmes and strengthen engagement on issues affecting regional stability and development.

The move underscores ECOWAS’ efforts to promote unity and sustain cooperation among West African countries.
