Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has committed his future to the club after signing a new contract that will keep him at the Emirates Stadium until June 2030.
The Premier League club confirmed the long-term agreement on Wednesday, ending weeks of speculation over the Spaniard’s future.
Arteta’s key members of staff will also remain with Arsenal, ensuring continuity within his coaching team as the club seeks to build on recent progress.
The 44-year-old took charge of Arsenal in December 2019 and has gradually transformed the club into consistent contenders near the top of the Premier League.
Under his leadership, Arsenal won the FA Cup in 2020 and have since returned to the UEFA Champions League, while establishing themselves as serious challengers for major domestic honours.
The new deal represents a significant show of confidence in Arteta’s project as Arsenal continue their pursuit of Premier League and European success.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed the agreement on Wednesday, posting on X that Arteta had signed a new Arsenal contract running until June 2030.
Arteta’s extended stay also gives the club greater stability as he continues to develop a squad capable of competing at the highest level.
With the new contract secured, Arsenal will hope the Spaniard can finally guide them to the Premier League title and further success in Europe during the next phase of his tenure.
