Vice President Kashim Shettima has appealed to Nigerians to continue supporting President Bola Tinubu, describing him as a leader who deserves understanding and goodwill as his administration tackles the country’s challenges.
Shettima made the appeal while speaking about the Tinubu administration’s policies and efforts to improve the Nigerian economy and address developmental challenges.
The Vice President urged Nigerians to be patient with the government, stressing that some of the reforms being implemented require time to produce the desired results.
He called on citizens to show generosity and support towards the President, saying the administration remains committed to improving the lives of Nigerians.
Shettima also highlighted some of the government’s ongoing efforts in areas such as infrastructure, economic reforms, job creation and social development.
His comments come amid continued public debate over the impact of the Federal Government’s economic policies, particularly the removal of fuel subsidy, rising living costs and other reforms.
The Vice President maintained that the government is working to create a stronger and more sustainable economy, while urging Nigerians to remain hopeful and supportive of the administration.
