The Kaduna State Police Command has arrested 24 suspected kidnappers and recovered several firearms during operations across the state.

According to the police, the arrests were recorded during intelligence-led operations targeting suspected kidnapping and criminal networks. The operations also resulted in the recovery of firearms and other items believed to have been used by the suspects.

The command said the suspects are currently assisting investigators with information that could lead to the arrest of other members of the criminal groups.

Police authorities said investigations are ongoing, while efforts have been intensified to track fleeing suspects and recover additional weapons.

The command also urged residents to provide credible information to security agencies to support ongoing operations against kidnapping and other criminal activities in the state.
