The Kaduna State Government has stepped up efforts to improve basic education across the state through the provision of new infrastructure and other interventions aimed at creating a better learning environment for pupils.
The initiative is focused on addressing infrastructure gaps in schools and improving the conditions under which teachers and pupils operate. The government said the interventions are part of its broader efforts to strengthen the quality of basic education and enhance human capital development.
The programme includes the development and improvement of school facilities across communities, with the aim of providing pupils with safer and more conducive classrooms and learning spaces.
The investment is also expected to support efforts to increase access to quality education, particularly at the basic level, while complementing other measures being implemented to improve educational outcomes across Kaduna’s 23 local government areas.
