Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress in Yola South Local Government Area of Adamawa State have reaffirmed their commitment to the party and declared support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the party’s governorship candidate, Ahmed Tijjani Galadima Aminu, and other APC candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The stakeholders made the declaration during a meeting in Yola South where they reviewed the party’s grassroots activities, mobilisation efforts and preparations for the forthcoming elections.
Speaking at the meeting, APC Adamawa State Secretary, Mustapha Atiku Ribadu, said the party remained united and focused on expanding its structure across the local government, wards and polling units. He also acknowledged Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri’s support for party unity and grassroots mobilisation in the state.
Ribadu disclosed that the party would soon commence a mobilisation tour covering the eight federal constituencies, 21 local government areas and 226 wards across Adamawa State.
The Yola South APC leadership also dismissed claims that major stakeholders had abandoned the party, maintaining that its members remained committed to strengthening the party’s grassroots structure.
The stakeholders called for continued unity, discipline and consultation among party members, while reaffirming their support for Tinubu, Galadima and other APC candidates ahead of the 2027 polls.
The APC’s Adamawa governorship candidate, Ahmed Tijjani Galadima Aminu, formally commenced his 2027 campaign in Yola on September 9, unveiling the “Adamawa Rising Agenda” as his development blueprint.
