Yola, Adamawa State – Suspected Boko Haram terrorists have killed a forest guard and three other residents during an attack on a community in Hong Local Government Area of Adamawa State.
The attack reportedly occurred in Zah community, Yadul District, where the assailants invaded the area and carried out the deadly operation, leaving residents in fear and raising fresh concerns over security threats in parts of the state.
Among those killed was a local forest guard who was involved in community security efforts. The identities of the other victims were not immediately disclosed.
Residents said the incident has heightened concerns among communities in areas vulnerable to attacks, with calls for increased security presence and improved protection of civilians.
Security agencies are expected to intensify efforts to track down the perpetrators and prevent further attacks in the affected communities.
