U.S. President Donald Trump is set to host Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House for their first face-to-face meeting since the recent conflict between the United States and Iran, with regional security expected to dominate discussions.
The meeting comes as tensions remain high across the Middle East despite a pause in direct hostilities between Washington and Tehran. The two leaders are expected to discuss Iran’s nuclear programme, regional security, the situation in Gaza, and efforts to secure the release of hostages still held by Hamas.
